History

The Mile High Music Festival burst onto the national festival scene in 2008. With headliners Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Dave Matthews Band topping the bill of its impressive line-up, it quickly became one of the most popular festivals of the year. In 2009, the festival delivered an even more amazing fan experience by offering a broader range of music with TOOL, Widespread Panic, and The Fray as headliners.

This year, Mile High Music Festival rocks the Rocky Mountains even harder with not only the most exciting line-up to date, but by also giving you the value you deserve—we've reduced ticket prices and are offering early-bird ticket specials (early-bird tickets are only available for purchase online). We're also giving you the convenience you deserve—the prices listed on our website reflect an all-in price that will not be subject to convenience fees during check-out. Shop online, by phone, or in person at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, the Pepsi Center box office, or the ticket kiosks in Colorado Dick's Sporting Goods stores, and the price will be the same.

The Grounds

Mile High Music Festival takes place on 14 pristine, precision soccer fields that surround Dick’s Sporting Good Park. That’s the most natural, luscious dance floor the Mile High City has to offer your feet. Five stages will be arranged throughout the grounds, and the stadium will be open to provide permanent restrooms and shade, in addition to several shade tents and portable toilets throughout the festival grounds.

Location, Location, Location

Just beyond the festival grounds lay Denver, Boulder, and Rocky Mountain National Forrest—one of the country’s most extensive, natural playgrounds. There’s fun and adventure for all activity levels. Rafting, biking, hiking, climbing? Check. World-class golf, shopping, dining, and spas? Check. Plenty of opportunity to chillax or go for the extreme? Double check. Mile High Music Festival is a fantastic anchor to any vacation on any budget.

Supporting Local Business

Mile High Music Festival is definitely known for its stellar music, but the experience is made complete by the event's support of local businesses. A ticket to the festival not only guarantees mind-blowing performances, it also serves up a fine selection of local Denver dishes and myriad handmade and hand-selected goods in the festival marketplace.

Giving Back

Peppered throughout the site are several non-profit organizations with missions and values the festival whole-heartedly believes in. As fans are surrounded by great music and activist organizations, it is festival organizers' hope that the spirit of the event will motivate conscious action and education. Additionally, the festival helps the local community by donating to the Commerce City Quality Community Fund. This fund creates scholarships for underserved youth and also provides grants for public works programs.
